Job Introduction
Our client, a leading “Digital Transformation & AI Technology Solutions” company based in Singapore is looking for talented “Senior Software Engineers” to join their team in Canada immediately.
Job Description
- Identify project requirements directly with clients, providing guidance and timeline estimates.
- Build and maintain quality applications for clients, using the appropriate technologies.
- Strive for performant and maintainable code.
- Collaborate closely with clients and co-workers in different time zones, maintaining communication and clear expectations.
- Mentor, teach, and pair with other developers both internally and our clients remotely using video technologies like Slack Calls and Google Hangouts.
- Represent This Dot in community events like podcasts, meetups, etc.
- Make open source contributions and lobbying as needed for our clients.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
- 2+ years of industry experience in front-end software development across multiple technologies and frameworks. (MEAN Stack)
- Strong working knowledge of various JavaScript libraries and frameworks. (Angular, React, Redux, Node, etc.)
- Strong fundamental knowledge of JavaScript and how it works.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript design patterns.
- Proficiency with build tools including NPM
- Experience with front-end JavaScript testing.
- Experience in cloud platforms including AWS or GCP
- Experience in Microservices and/or Kubernetes would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with TypeScript would be an advantage.
- Effective time-management skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to work well with a diverse group of people.
